Cha earned her B.S. in Psychology from La Concepcion College, where she conducted a number of case studies, while writing numerous research papers. During her time there, she volunteered at the Guidance Office administering psychological assessments to new students. Her work involved ensuring standardized testing procedures, interpreting results, and preparing detailed reports that provided valuable insights into student development and support needs.
Her professional journey began in sales at Santino Metal Industries, a fabrication company outside her field of study. While not directly related to psychology, this experience was pivotal in helping her overcome her natural shyness, build confidence, and develop strong communication skills through daily interaction with a wide range of clients and colleagues. Cha later transitioned to Healthway Qualimed Hospital SJDM, where she served as a non-medical healthcare worker. In this role, she handled various administrative responsibilities, honed her data entry and multitasking skills, and gained deeper exposure to patient care processes and team coordination in a clinical environment.
In 2022, Cha joined Evergreen as part of the financial operations team. Although she had to briefly away due to personal circumstances, she returned after a year’s break with renewed focus. During that time, she pursued work more closely aligned with her psychology background as an Admin Associate at Ashe’s Kidzone Developmental Center. There, she trained as a Speech and Language Development Teacher, working with children with speech impairments and developmental delays – an experience that deepened her empathy, patience, and attention to individualized learning needs.
Most recently, Cha rejoined Evergreen as an Underwriting Assistant, bringing with her a blend of analytical precision, administrative experience, and interpersonal sensitivity – all strengthened by her background in psychology and education.
Outside of work, Cha finds joy in traditional and digital art which includes painting, crafting, and clay mediums. These creative pursuits not only nurture her imagination but also enhance her technological fluency through the use of digital design tools. She credits art as a grounding balance to her analytical work, fostering creativity, focus, and continuous learning.
