Ali Abbas

Ali (Abbas) holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Karachi in Karachi, Pakistan. He is an experienced, results-focused, quality-driven executive with a demonstrated history within the property and casualty insurance industry. He has prior experience working with Adamjee insurance and Habib Insurance Ltd while in Pakistan, quickly moving from Accident Department to fully managing the Corporate Claims Department in the company.
He’s been with Evergreen since 2004, and has been heavily involved on multiple levels including underwriting, marketing, branding, and most recently as the head of underwriting. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer.
Outside of work, he truly enjoys the creativity inherent in do-it-yourself home improvement (nothing is too complicated or wild). For example, he’s built a pseudo-roll cage for F1 (and other racing) simulators and has since early childhood been custom modifying every car he can get his hands on. He also enjoys defeating everyone with his unique style of table tennis, and of course spending time with his family – preferably while he destroys them at table tennis.
