Daniel Young
Underwriter Assistant, Business Dev & Marketing
Daniel (Young) holds a B.A. with a double major in finance and business administration, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Houston Christian University.
He has been immersed in the insurance space for the vast majority of his life, having decades of experience serving folks in Texas as an personal lines agent for Farmers Insurance, and an independent agent at Young’s Insurance.
Daniel currently serves dual roles at Evergreen, as an underwriting assistant and as business development / marketing – which means it’s very likely you’ll not only see him on social media, but also with boots on the ground around Texas visiting and helping out agents and agencies.
Outside of work, he is avid believer in the one-handed backhand and is deeply involved in USTA league tennis and has been to city playoffs x 18, sectionals x 10, and nationals x 1 (and won it!) in a variety of competitive segments including men’s as well as mixed doubles at the NTRP level 4.0. He, his wife and two children love traveling and have a plan to try every single type of ethnic food in Texas – at least three times.
